And then the moment where he explained about how the doctors told his parents he had three weeks to live when he was born and I got the emotion aches in my chest for the first time since I started watching because he has lived with death since LIT-ER-ALLY the day he was born and compensated for it with constant, absolute mania and out of all the humorous caricatures on the show

Chris is the one that I could believe if he weren’t a comedy character. Which sounds ridiculous but I also kinda want to write an ode to his manic depressive episodes and his aversion to disavowing legitimate depth of his thoughts and emotions to other people because he doesn’t want to hinder them and his absolute fear of death
